LINX CREATIVE ART STUDIO PRIVACY POLICY

We, at LinX Creative Art Studios, are committed to protecting your privacy when you access our website, and this policy explains how we may collect and use information about you through our website. Navigational Data: As you visit our website, we may gather navigational data that shows what pages you visit and how long various features are used. The information that we collect in this process will not identify you as an individual. We do not seek to identify you unless you volunteer your personal details through one of the features on the website.

 

Personal Information: To enrol in any classes or events through our website, you will be asked to provide us with certain personal information, including your name, address, email address, phone number, credit card number, and additional enrolment related information you choose to provide us. The above personal information is retained in our records, EXCEPT credit card number. We use this information for internal purposes, and to process your order, facilitate and improve your use of our website, communicate with you and comply with any requirements of law. We also use this information to respond to any questions you might have and provide you with updated information about our organization and the classes we offer. This information may be disclosed to our staff and to third parties involved in the processing of your enrollment or any payments you may make. We do not sell and shall not divulge your personal contact information to third parties other than as specified in this Privacy Policy without your permission unless we are legally entitled and/or obliged to do so. You may choose not to provide us with your personal information; however, you will not be able to enroll in any courses through our website.

 

Protection of Information: We use secure web pages to collect certain kinds of user information. We have developed procedures to help protect the confidentiality, security and integrity of information we store. While no computer system is completely secure, we work hard to protect your privacy and use various safeguards in connection with the collection, storage and disclosure of any personal information.

 

Third Party Websites: This website may also contain links to other websites, which may be operated by unrelated third parties. The websites to which we provide links may use cookies and may collect information about your Internet browsing and navigational history. The linked sites may have privacy policies that differ from ours. Therefore, before you browse such websites or disclose any personal information on such a website, we recommend that you review the privacy policy associated with such websites. We make no represnetation or warranty as to the effectiveness, quality, legitimacy or data protections of any third-party website.

LINX CREATIVE ART STUDIO CANCELLATION POLICY

  • CLASSES $49 OR LESS:

    • There are no refunds. However if you contact us via email or phone 24 hours prior to the class start time, you may transfer the reservation to another class or place your reservation on hold for another class for one year. If no notification of cancellation occurs or a call is placed fewer than 24 hours before the class, you will forfeit your tuition.

  • CLASSES OVER $49:

    • The Studio will refund your tuition paid, less a $30 cancellation fee if you cancel more than 7 days before the start date of a class. If you cancel 7 days or less before the start date, you will forfeit your tuition. There are no refunds for no-shows or for withdrawals after a weekly class begins.

  • PRIVATE PARTIES:

    • Deposits required for private events are non-refundable if party is cancelled less than 14 days in advance of party date. If party is canceled before 14 days, a credit will be placed on file for one year and can only be applied to another private event.

    • The studio will contact the party coordinator 48 hours before a scheduled party, the final number of painters is required at this time and the customer will be charged for that number the day of the party.

  • KIDS’ SUMMER ART CAMPS (06/18/24):

    • Please understand that our camp sizes are kept small to facilitate learning, resulting in most camps quickly filling. Last-minute cancellations keep other kids from enjoying our program. This is an important issue, thank you for your understanding.

    • CANCELLATION POLICY BEFORE CAMP BEGINS:

      • Any cancellations seven (7) days prior to the start of the session, the studio will refund tuition less a $75 cancellation fee per session, per student.

    • CANCELLATION POLICY AFTER CAMP BEGINS:

      • If you cancel seven (7) days or less prior to the session start date, you will forfeit your full tuition.

    • SWITCHING SESSIONS:

      • There will be no fee charged to switch sessions before the start of camp. After camp begins, a $35 fee will be charged provided the studio is notified seven (7) days before the session starts. If you wish to change sessions and there is no availability, you will be refunded your tuition less $150 cancellation provided the studio was notified seven (7) days prior to the start date of the session.​

  • KIDS’ School Holiday Art Breaks and Weekly Classes 

    • Any cancellations seven (7) days prior to the start of the session, the studio will refund tuition less a $30 (1-day workshops) or $50 (3-4 day camps / Weekly Classes Session ) cancellation fee per student enrolled. If you cancel (7) days or less before the start date, you will forfeit your tuition. There are no refunds for no-shows or for withdrawals after a session begins.

  • PRIVATE LESSONS:

    • Upon scheduling a private lesson, full payment is due. There are no refunds for private lessons, however, if you contact the studio via email or phone 48 hours prior to the lesson time, you may schedule a new lesson or place the tuition on hold for for a later date within a year of the cancelled lesson. If no notification of cancellation occurs or a call is placed fewer than 48 hours before the class, you will forfeit your tuition.

  • GIFT CERTIFICATE INFORMATION:

    • Gift certificates expire one year after the issue date. Certificates can be redeemed by emailing the studio at info@linxcreative.ca. Certificates are not redeemable for cash.

    • Donation gift certificates expires six months after the issue date. Donations certificates are issued for specific events/programs at the Studio and therefore cannot be applied to any other program (i.e. a PAINT & SIP Adult class certificate cannot apply to Kids’ Summer Art Camp). Certificates can be redeemed by emailing the studio at info@linxcreative.ca. Certificates are not redeemable for cash.

  • LinX Creative Art Studios reserves the right to cancel or modify a workshop or class at any time. Full refunds will be issued if the studio cancels a workshop or class.
